Sometimes things happen in life, and you feel like no one understands you, and then you turn on the radio and there it is. That song, and you feel like wow, the artist must be inside my head. Every note they sing gives you chills you feel overwhelmed and if you’re a girl you will probably cry. As the drama in my life continued I heard this song while driving to school in my mom’s truck. She has all these stations I never listen to and I turned on the radio and it was just there. It is called “I’m Not Missing You”. The chorus is :
I'm not missing you
I'm not going through the motions
Waiting and hoping you call me
I'm not missing you
You might have had me open
But I must be going because
I got life to do
I know I'm usually hanging on
I used to hate to see you gone
But this time it's different
I don't even feel the distance
I'm not missing
I'm not missing you
I have realized people will go to great lengths to put me in a bad mood, and this song just said it all for me. I will no longer fall apart and cry over people who really do not matter. This song made me realize that life goes on, and everyone finds that special someone, but this process is not to be rushed. So for now that is one piece of the puzzle that fits.

One Tree Hill Returns
The wait is over. April 14, 2008 ended the wait for new episodes on One Tree Hill. If anyone was shocked at Nathan and Lucas jumping their own father, I was not. Finally things are coming together for the group of friends.. Well some of them. Nathan and Haley are picking up their marriage and life is getting better for them. While Brooke is looking into adopting and becoming a mother, her own mother has been removed from her life, and I think it is for the best. Nanny Carrie was not mentioned in this episode and thank God for that, because I never want to see her on the show again. As for Lucas, he fiancé left him at the alter, leaving him broken inside. This of course was good for Peyton who wants Lucas back, but Lucas just wants Lindsay. I am sure I am not the only one who wants that to change. Dan has changed. For those of you just tuning in Dan killed his own brother, who was Lucas’s father figure, and ended up being released from jail, but the truth comes out now. The episodes will continue to be filled with more drama. Sadly these are the things that i look forward to. Until next time, wait for another piece of the puzzle.
When it Rains it Pours....
Due to one crisis after another I have not been posting. Partially to blame is my procrastinating, but on a serious note, I was in my first car accident on April 3rd and after that fiasco, they just kept coming. Here is some background. Manager cut my hours at work, so a second job was needed. Then on a more serious level, my grandma got very ill and was in the hospital for the past two weeks and I have been there every day with her. I have all four grandparents and on the other side my other grandma fell on her bad knee and had to be rushed to the emergency room, and the drama did not stop there. The statement “when it rains it pours” is an understatement for the month I have had. With things winding down, I figured I owed my readers an explanation. Sorry about that. Sometimes putting all the pieces together takes longer than expected. My advice, always leave room for problems, and if you’re a procrastinator this will be hard for you, but try.

Cellphones.. Fatal??
Procrastinating again this morning, woke up late, I sat in bed and watched the FOX 5 Morning News. I was finally starting to move, and get ready when I heard the anchor say that a new study has been done saying that cellphones may be the cause of brain tumors I was alarmed and of course, stopped moving and procrastinated some more. Needless to say I missed my first class, but have not touched my cell phone since... Who am I kidding? We all know as soon as I heard the deadly news I picked up my cellphone and called my Mom to tell her, Ironic right? The opening line was Cellphones more deadly than cigarettes. As stated in a previous blog I am an advocate for Anti-smoking. This statement is alarming, and I plan on looking into this further. Just another piece.. I am sure everyone can relate to this, because everyone and their mom has a cellphone.
The Last Season at Yankee Stadium
Since 1923 Yankee fans have flocked to E. 161st Street and River Avenue in the Bronx. Today is opening day, and it will be the last opening day this stadium sees. Many historical events have happened at the memorable Yankee Stadium. Lou Gehrig made his speech when he found out he was diagnosed with what is now known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The infamous Babe Ruth had his prime years running through the field through the years. At the end of the season the doors will close leaving Yankee fans without a home, but not for long. The new stadium I am sure will hold many amazing winnings, and new memories for all the fans. I am a Yankee fan, but I have never been to a game. I plan on making an effort to see one in this last season.
One Tree Hill .. The beginning of it all

Everyone has their own opinion, or main character they choose to claim their “favorite”. Each character brings their own unique flare to the show. The tagline of this show is “Where nothing ever changed until one outsider changed everything”. The outsider they are referring to is star Chad Michael Murray also known as the series’ Lucas Scott and he did change everything. Within every season he makes a difference in each of the character’s lives. The show first aired September 23, 2003 and I have been watching ever since. He saved his brother’s life, made his best friend the happiest she has ever been, and through all the drama he holds the mold of these friends together. The show is about friendship, and that is the most important thing anyone can ever accomplish. A good friendship does not come by easy, and when you find one that lasts hold onto it forever.
Leaving Viewers in Suspense
As I continue to procrastinate I watch my weekly anticipated show One Tree Hill. This show has been running for about five years and each year it gets better and better. The show is filled with scandal, lies, love, all the themes a good “chic” show should have. I started watching this show with my best friend four years ago and now that she is away from college this is our time together. Yes I know, it is not like she moved to Guam, she is only upstate , but we call each other on commercials and at the end we share our opinions on the scandalous events that occurred in that evening’s show. Tonight Tuesday March 18, 2008 was the wedding event of the whole series. If you do not watch the show, I advise you start, the show has so many real life situations and sometimes I can turn to the show to help me through. Ultimately…. This show is amazing, and the episode tonight left all of us viewers in suspense. Will Nanny Carrie strike again? Will Dan be accepted back into the lives of his family? All these questions will be answered when the series returns on a new day Monday April 14 ,2008, on CW 11.
